From June 3 to 5, the ALBATROS project conducted an intensive three-day demonstration at the ENSOSP facilities in Aix-en-Provence. During the exercise, 11 firefighters underwent practical, hands-on training dedicated to managing hydrogen fire incidents in aviation contexts.

The newly released recap video showcases the core operational phases of the exercise:

  • The active participation of 11 firefighters managing live-action scenarios

  • The technical setup used to simulate real hydrogen fire risks

  • The cross-partner collaboration on the field, driving the project’s validation targets

  • The joint effort to enhance safety and operational readiness for future hydrogen-powered aviation

⬇️ The recap video is available below to review the field activities and key takeaways.

We express our gratitude to ENSOSP, all project participants, and the technical teams who contributed to the success of Demo #10.
